Abstract
Reaction of substituted thioureas with a-haloesters in toluene at reflux conditions lead to novel thiazolidine-4-ones derivatives in good yields and comparatively in short times. All structures of the newly synthesized compounds were elucidated by elemental analysis and spectral data.
