Abstract
A benzenedicarboxamide derivative was designed and synthesized. Its structure was characterized by 1H NMR. Biological assay showed compound 9 was much potent to beet armyworm (Spodoptera exigua) than the positive control. The synthesized compound might be a better candidate of new insecticide against beet armyworm.
