Abstract
a-Fe2O3 micropowders can be prepared by hydrothermal reaction and heating treatment with Fe(NO3)3·6H2O and NH3·H2O as original materials. The result shows that the precursor FeOOH decomposed to a-Fe2O3 at 250 ºC and two kinds of co-existent a-Fe2O3 in the sizes of 120 and 20 nm or so can be obtained at 350 ºC.
