Abstract
A series of copper(II) complexes have been synthesized by the reaction of several Cu(II) salts with a Salen-type bisoxime chelating ligand (H6L = 5,5',6,6'-tetrahydroxy-2,2'-[ethylene-1,2-diyldioxy)bis(nitrilomethylidyne)]diphenol) in anhydrous ethanol medium. All the copper(II) complexes were characterized by elemental analyses, IR spectra, UV-visible spectra and molar conductance measurements.
