Abstract
In this paper, we studied the ozone degradation characteristics of 2-hydroxy-5-nonylbenzaldehyde oxime in water, we also investigated the influence of various factors on ozone degradation of 2-hydroxy-5-nonylbenzaldehyde oxime. The results show that pH, the initial concentration of 2-hydroxy-5-nonylbenzaldehyde oxime and ozone dosage have greater impact on the oxidation of 2-hydroxy-5-nonylbenzaldehyde. The mechanism and kinetics of ozone treatment of 2-hydroxy-5-nonylbenzaldehyde oxime were discussed. The treatment rate of 2-hydroxy-5- nonylbenzaldehyde oxime in actual mine waste water reached 93 %, with significant treatment effect.
