Synthesis of A Novel Hyper-Crosslinked Resin with 1,4-Bis(chloromethoxyl)butane

Abstract
A kind of novel hypercrosslinked resin has been synthesized with 1,4-bis(chloromethoxyl)butane and naphthalene. The micromorphology of the resin was characterized with Brunauer-Emmett-Teller (BET), in addition, IR spectra and elemental analysis of the resin was also characterized. The results indicated that, the novel adsorption resin have a high specific surface area of 509.02 m2/g and abundant micropore structure with average pore diameter 1.134 nm.
