Solvothermal Synthesis and Crystal Structure of Nickel Cluster Based on Benzotriazole

Abstract
A novel nickel cluster [Ni9(btz)12(CH3COO)6(DMA)6)] (1; btz = 1H-benzotriazole; DMA = N,N'-dimethylacetamide) has been solvothermally prepared and structurally characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction, which shows that this compound crystallized in the hexagonal space group P-3 with a = 22.199(5) Å, b = 22.199(5) Å, c = 24.696(5) Å, a = b = 90º, g = 120º, V = 10540(4) Å3, Z = 3.
