Abstract
Single crystals of glycine oxalate have been grown from water using slow evaporation technique at constant temperature, with the vision to improve the properties of the crystals. Large sized crystals of dimensions 30 mm × 27 mm × 20 mm were grown for the first time. The unit cell parameters of the grown crystals were found by single crystal X-ray diffraction. The dielectric and A.C. conductivity studies were carried out to understand the variation of frequency with temperature. The etching studies were performed on the grown crystals of glycine oxalate with different etchants.
