Abstract
Micronization of griseofulvin was prepared using rapid expansion of supercritical solution (RESS) with cosolvent process. The average diameter of precipitated by rapid expansion of supercritical solution was 1 μm or so. The results of SEM and DSC showed that the microparticles in crystal habit were not modified evidently at the experimental conditions tested. The dissolving rate of precipitated particles was enhanced in the buffer solution.
