Hydrothermal Synthesis and Crystal Structure of bis-[4-{(E)-2-(Pyridin-4-yl)vinyl}pyridine] Manganese(II) Thiophene-2,3-dicarboxylate

Abstract
One new manganese compound Mn(OAc)2·4H2O with thiophene-2,3-dicarboxylic acid and bpp [4-{(E)-2-(pyridin-4-yl)vinyl}pyridine] has been successfully synthesized. Compound shows a one-dimensional framework. The 3D supramolecular structure is formed via hydrogen bonding formation.
