Abstract
The aim of this work to synthesize a compound plays as a retarder when use it in rubber vulcanization process, particularly in a blend of SBR/NR rubber. The compound was synthesized by using cyclo addition reaction of Schiff base and maleic anhydride. The products were characterized by FT-IR, 1H NMR and elemental analysis.
