Isolation and Characterization of Chemical Constituents from Dendrobium nobil Lindl.

Abstract
In the present study, 4 compounds were isolated and characterized from ethanolic extract of the Dendrobium nobil Lindl. These compounds were elucidated as g-quinide (1), 1,7-dimethoxyxanthone (2), dendrobine (3) and isoviolanthin (4). Among these compounds, compounds 1, 2, 4 were isolated from Dendrobium nobil Lindl. for the first time and compounds 1, 2, 4 were first reported from the genus of Dendrobium.
