Abstract
Five bisbenzoylthiourea compounds have been synthesized from benzoyl isothiocyanate and different diamines in CH2Cl2 medium under solid-liquid phase transfer catalysis conditions. Structures of these compounds have been characterized by elemental analyses as well as IR and 1H NMR spectroscopy. These compounds were tested for their antibacterial and antifungal activities. The results indicated most of the compounds have good antimicrobial activities, especially in against agriculture disease fungal.
