Abstract
A series of five mixtures of aluminium nitrate (AIN) and chromium
(III) acetate (CrA) with molar ratios, 3 : 1(I),2: 1(II),1 : 1(III), 1 : 2(IV)
and 1 : 3(V) were prepared and subjected to thermal treatment at 350, 500
750 and 1000ºC. The decomposition products of pure salts and their
mixtures were characterized by means of chemical analysis, diffuse
reflectance and X-ray diffraction.
