Abstract
Ultrasonic velocity and density of Zr (IV) soaps viz caproate, caprate and laurate have been measured in benzene at 35ºC. Using these data the adiabatic compressibility, inter-molecular free length apparent molar compressibility, molar sound velocity, molar sound compressibility, solvation number and apparent molar volume have been evaluated.
