Abstract
Metal chelates of 5,5-diphenyl-2,4-imidazolidinedione with Cu(II), Co(II) and Ni(II) of the type ML2·(H2O)2 (where M = Cu(II), Co(II) and Ni(II), L = 5,5 diphenyl-2,4 imidazolidinedione) have been prepared and characterised on the basis of various physico-chemical data. They have been screened for anticonvulsant activity. Some of them have significant activity.
