Abstract
Complexes of the type [MLL'3] where M = Cu(ll), Co(ll) and
Ni(II); L = salicylaldehyde-o-aminophenol; L' = γ-picoline,
quinoline, pyridine and 2-aminopyrimidine were synthesised. IR
spectra indicate the coordination of both the ligands to metal ion.
Magnetic and electronic spectral studies provide the evidence for
the existence of octahedral geometry for all the complexes.
