Abstract
The Mannich bases of the benzimidazoles were prepared by using formaldehyde
and amino benzothiazoles in the presence of traces of conc.
HCI. These prepared compounds were tested for their antibacterial activity
against gram(+ve) and gram(-ve) bacteria. Some of the compounds show
remarkable activity.
