Abstract
Novel polyetherhydrazides (PEHs) have been synthesized by suspension polycondensation of resorcin/hydroquin-O,O-bis(acetyl chlorides) and phosphonic dihydrazide in N,N-dimethyl acetamide at -10oC. All such PEHs have been characterized by IR spectral analysis, inherent viscosity, elemental analysis and oxidative isothermal weight loss analysis respectively.
