Abstract
Mixed chelates of the type [Cr(Stsc)(GIy)L] (where H2Stsc = salicylaldehyde
thiosemicarbazoile, GlyH = glycine and L = γ-picoline (γ-pic),
isoquinoline (IQ), pyridine-N-oxide (PyNO), triphenyl-phosphene oxide
(TPPO) or thiourea (Tu) have been synthesised and characterised by elemental
analyses, molar conductance, magnetic moment, infrared and electronic
spectral data. The complexes are paramagnetic, non-electrolyte and
have octahedral geometries.
