Abstract
Metal complexes [CuL·2H2O·2DMF] (I), Na2[CuL2·2H2O]·4DMF (II),
Na4[CuL3]·5DMF (III), [CuL·2DP]·2DMF (IV), Na2[CuL2·DP]·5DMF
(V), [NiL·2H2O·2DMF] (VI), Na2[NiL2·DMF] (VII), Na4[NiL3]·3.5DMF
(VIII), [NiL·2DP]·0.5DMF (IX) and Na2[NiL2·DP]·DMF (X) (where L,
DMF and DP are phthalate dianion, dimethylformamide and 1,3-diaminopropane,
respectively) and organometallic compounds Cu(C7H4O2)·
(2H2O) (XI), Ni(C7H4O2)(2H2O) (XII) and Zn(C7H4O2)(DMF) (XIII)
(derived from phthalic acid) have been prepared andd characterised by
elemental analysis, conductivity measurements and spectral studies.
