Abstract
In the ten soil series of paddy cultivation in Tiruchirapalli Districtof Tamil Nadu, the salinity, sodicity level and the availablemicronutrients have been studied. Some soil series are classified assodic and they are free from salinity hazard. Most of the soil seriescontain lesser available micronutrients other than copper. The ratiobetween iron and other micro nutrients has been worked out.
