Abstract
The magnetic moment of a complex plays an important role in deciding the
geometry of the complexes whether it is square-planar or tetrahedral or octahedral
(outer or inner). The complex is diamagnetic; the possible structure is
either square-planar or trigonal bipyramidal, but if the complex is paramagnetic,
the possible structure is either tetrahedral or outer octahedral.
