Abstract
Pyrimidine-2-thiones (2a-m) have been prepared by heating
chalcone derivatives (1a-m) with thiourea in ethanolic potassiumhydroxide
and reacted with chloroacetic acid and acetyl choride
yielding the products 3-4.
