Abstract
Some new 2-isoxazole derivatives have been prepared by condensation
of α, β -dibromo chalcomes with hydroxylamine hydrochloride in ethanol
in presence of potassium hydroxide. These varied products have been
characterised by spectral studies and screened for antibacterial activity.
