Synthesis and Characterization of Some Metal Complexes of Co(II), Ni(II) and Cu(II) with 2-Benzoylhydrazono-4-Thiazolidinone

Abstract

The metal complexes of the type ML₂X₂ where M = Co(II),
Ni(II), Cu(II) X = Cl^-,  Br^-, NO₃^- or CIO₄^- and L = 2-benzoylhydrazono-
4-thiazolidinone are synthesised. The IR spectral data
suggest the coordination of ligahd through the O and S atom. The
UV spectral data and magnetic moment  value indicate the octahedral
geometry of the complexes.
