Abstract
The treatment of 4-cbloro-2-methylquinoline with aniline
yielded 4-quinolinamine, which upon cyclization afforded the titled
compounds using Vilsmeier conditions. All the synthesized compounds
have been screened for their antibacterial activities against
Salmonella typhii and Aeromonas hydrophila.
