Abstract
A series of nine novel complexes of palladium(II) with nine
different thiosemicatbazones derived from 4-aminoantipyrine and
various aryl aldehydes have been prepared and characterized using
elemental analysis, magnetic moment measurements, infrared and
electronic spectroscopic techniques. The conductance values show
them as 1 : 1 electrolytes. Infrared spectral studies indicate that all
the nine thiosernicarbazones are neutral tridentate (N,N,S) ligands.
The complexes have a square-planar structure.
