Abstract
High performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) is a very efficient
method for the analysis of herbal drugs and herbal preparations.
because of its ability to simultaneously separate, identify and
analyse the complex mixture of organic substances. In the present
communication we report the HPLC analysis of the ayurvedic drug,
Triphala powder and demonstrate the utility of the technique in
standardizing the ayurvedic drug.
