Abstract
A new series of substituted benzimidazoles as 1-(substituted methy])-2-{substituted phenyl) benzimidazoles were synthesized and characterized. The compounds were evaluated for antiinflammatory and antibacterial activity. All the compounds exhibited significant to moderate antiinflammatory and antibacterial activities.
