Abstract
A new simple and sensitive UV spectrophotometric methods have been developed for the determination of temozolamide and gemcitabine in pureform and pharmaceutical formulations. These methods exhibit maximum absorption at 333 and 268 nm, respectively and both the methods obey Beer’s law in the concentration range of 4-20 μg/mL. The methods are accurate and precise and are extended to pharmaceutical formulations and there was no interference from any common pharmaceutical additives and excepients. The results of the analysis have been validated statistically and by recovery studies.
