Abstract
Unsaturated 2-phenyl-5(4H)-oxazolone derivatives (azlactons) are the important class of synthons. Antiomony pentafluoride efficiently catalyzed the synthesis of unsaturated 2-phenyl-5(4H)-oxazolone derivatives under solvent-free conditions with microwave irradiation.
