Abstract
Effects of ethanolic extract of the leaves of Sapindus trifoliatus was studied on CCl4 induced hepatic injury in albino rats. The study revealed that the leaf extract at the dose levels of 100, 200 and 400 mg/kg body weight significantly reduced serum alanine transaminase, asparatate transaminase, serum alkaline phosphatase, total bilirubin and total proteins.
