Syntheses and Reactions of Some Pyrazole-1-carboximide Derivatives under Dry Media Microwave

Abstract

Effects of microwaves in dry media organic reactions have shown synthetic utility for the preparation of chalcones (2a-d). (4E)-4-(4-arylidene)-5-imino-4,5-dihydro-3-hydroxy pyrazole- 1-carboxamide (5a-d) were prepared. (4E)-4-arylidene-4,5- dihydro-3-hydroxy-5-iminopyrazole-1-carbonitrile (6a-d). Compounds 6a-d underwent cyclization reaction when treated with hydrazine hydrate affording (8a-d) derivatives.
