Abstract
Rocuronium bromide 1 is an amino steroid non-depolarizing neuro muscular blocker or muscle relaxant used in modern anesthesia. An economical process has been developed for large-scale synthesis of key intermediate diepoxide 6 of rocuronium bromide.
