Abstract
The water-soluble tetra-β-carboxymethyleneaminophthalocyanine cobalt is synthesized, in one step, from tetra-β-aminophthalocyanine cobalt. The synthesized compound, as a catalyst in oxidation of sulfide, behaves enhanced catalytic activity relative to tetra-β-carboxyphthalocyanine cobalt.
