Abstract
Stable crystalline phosphorus ylides are obtained from 1 : 1 : 1 addition between tertiary phosphine, dialkyl acetylenedicarboxylate and strong N––H acids, such as imidazole or benzimidazole. These compounds were identified by FTIR, FTNMR and elemental analysis.
