Abstract
Tetradentate bis-(3-methoxy salicylaldimine)-1,6-diamino hexane Schiff base with (N2O2) donor sets, prepared by condensation of 1,6-diaminohexane and 3-methoxy salicylaldehyde and characterized by various spectroscopic method. Semi-empirical calculations have been used for investigation of the electronic properties of this tetradentate Schiff base compound.
