Abstract
Synthesis of divalent copper and zinc complexes with pipradrol (a,a-diphenyl-2-piperidinemethanol) having [ML2]2– stoichiometries have been reported. Characterizations have been done on the basis of elemental analysis, conductivity, magnetic, IR and electronic spectral studies. Complexes have been found as comparatively more effective stimulants than the ligand and possess much higher toxicity as compared to the ligand.
