Abstract
The Z-dependence of spectral photon energy distributions of external bremsstrahlung(EB) produced by 99Tc beta particles in thick target, have been studied as a function of photon energy. The present results show that the values of the Z-dependence index, obtained from Bethe and Heider, Elwert corrected Behe and Heider, and Tseng and Pratt theories, are not constant. The proportionality factor shows an exponential decaying dependency on the photon energy.
