Abstract
Binary and ternary complexes of the type M-L and MXL [M = Cu(II), Ni(II), Co(II), Mn(II) and Fe(III)]; X = 5-chlorosalicylidene- 2-chlorobenzylamine and L = 5-chlorosalicylidene- 4-aminobenzenesulphonamide have been examined pH-metrically at 27 ºC and μ = 0.1 M (KCl) in 75 / 25 % v/v dioxane-water mixture. The logarithms of the values of formation constants for M-L and MXL systems [M = Cu(II), Ni(II), Co(II), Mn(II) and Fe(III)] are calculated as 7.64 and 5.96; 8.05 and 4.71; 7.86 and 4.60; 7.95 ad 4.66; 10.07 and 8.88, respectively.
