The XRD results indicated the formation highly crystalline material with 2 to 4 nm in size. The tetragonal phase of the nanoparticles was confirmed by XRD analysis. Small amount of this catalysts was efficiently catalyzed acetylation of benzyl alcohol with acetic anhydride in short time under solvent free conditions. The 5 wt.% YZ gave best results at 120 ÂșC with 100% conversion of benzyl alcohol with 100% selectivity of the product. Different parameters were studied for optimization of acetylation, which proved the catalysts has excellent activity and can be used at large scale applications in industry.</p> ER -
